It's a honour when I'am asked to be one of jury for the story telling competition. Even it's not the first time I handle similar event.
There are nineteen participants who perform at that day. We should choose and take three winners. After each performance, all jury have opportunity to ask the participant. So we know deeper about their reading habits, book preferences, preparation for this competition, etc.
It's really nice to know that many talented children of our city. Some of them are really give their best performance. The gesture, vocal, story telling capability, creativity, totality can make the audience feel so entertained.
We know that it is not easy to grab the audience's attention. Story telling needs many aspects from the story teller. And some of these kids could do it well. Of course the rest are still need polishment and improvement. But most of all, we should appreciate them all. Because there is still a long time to make themselves being better and better.
